Farewell Jean Neilson

On Sunday, March 10 our pet community lost a special friend ~ Jean Neilson of
The Canadian Cats, home to Shoko and Tyebe, and her Angel kitties Budd and Kali.
Jean had blogged for nearly ten-years, until in May of 2022, her dear husband

of 50-years, Bill posted that due to her declining health from a stroke, Jean
could sadly no longer publish on her blog.
She had always been a creative delight to so many ~ participating in every event

with humor and energy. Famous for her recipes, her garden tips, and oh yes, her
love of tea! And so proud of her beautiful Prince George, British Columbia ... and
those adorable cats!

We send our heartfelt sympathy to Bill now on his loss of Jean, and our friend,
this beautiful and kind woman, may she rest peacefully, forever.

 I have very fond memories of Jean from my early blogging days.
She and her kitties formed The Crotchety Cougars Club for Senior
Lady cats.  We all took turns planning adventures for our Crotchety Cougars.
 Madi was a member.  Jean even had a 'mouse' pad made with pictures of the group.  The group of ladies were the Feline version of Red Hat Society

I use my mouse pad every day.
Madi is on the right end of the first row and of course she is talking.

With fond memories of a dear woman.
