Mr. Kitty from Cats of Wildcat wood OTRB

Adieu Mr. Kitty (1999 - 2018)

In his window seat

We lost our handsome 18 1/2 yer old ginger boy Sunday night. It was unexpected but Don and I were sitting on either side of him on the sofa talking to him and holding him when he passed.

POTP: Lucky at Marg's Animals

Our boy Lucky went to the vet yesterday and it was discovered that he is in kidney failure. SO, the vet gave us two prescriptions and we got one of them since the store didn't have the other one. Last night he ate a whole can of the new food but this morning he will not eat it. The vet tech gave us a bunch of recipes and so we have to get get all the ingredients today and cook for him.

Also I am going to try some different flavors and try to order the other kind of food and just see if I can get it here fast.

We are just so thankful that we have some great vets.

Any prayers or good thoughts would be appreciated. Just wish I could get him to eat. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Please leave some POTP either on Marg's Blog

Emergency!! Good News UPDATE

Emergency and immediate POTP needed.  Either Casey or Jessie ate rat poisoning.  They are both at ER right now.

UPDATE: Andrea writes: Vet says they should be just fine, we got to it in time. They both ate it, Jessie more. I’m SO glad I brought them both instead of just Jessie like I almost did! They’re finishing up vomiting now, then will get some anti-nausea, activated charcoal to absorb anything left in their systems, and vitamin K to counter any effects. Vet said that it shouldn’t affect Jessie’s kidneys or Casey’s heart.
