Basil

Blogville was set reeling this morning with the news that we lost our beloved Easy.  If only our aching hearts could somehow postpone the onset of finding more furry furends in trouble.  But unfortunately that will never be. We received word that Basil  is sick with pancreatitis and has stayed overnight at the vet's with
medication. His peeps and siblings are very worried. Please send them some POTP.  You can find them HERE.

Easy has gone to the Bridge......

It is with the heaviest heart that I post this news....I really have no words

Easy & Update

Ann from Zoolarty just sent this handsome photo of EASY for us to post
We are very very very thankful to hear that Easy's tummy did not twist.  He is
still at the vet and may possibly come home later today...they will see
how the rest of the day goes
KEEP YOUR PAWS AND HANDS TOGETHER FOR EASY AND STAFF

Easy is at ER with bloat  -  pray hard!

UPDATE FROM KATTY:

3 Hours Ago Katty wrote:  your prayers and potp helped... if everything looks good we can pick him up in the evening. he is not out of the woods and we have to talk with the vet about a final solution. but the main thing is that he is still with us and we have a chance to find the best way for the pup.many thanks for being on our side, it's the worst to be alone ...and to know you have friends who are with you is the helping hand we need in such sad moments...

Prior Update:  we are just back from er. the vet sent us home. he will place a tube now and then he will do surgery. it's a wrestle for life and death this time and we are devastated.

it happened at 4 am that he tried to puke, but it didn't work, then suddenly he looked totally bloated and screamed with pains.

we acted immediately and there was not even an hour between the start of the attack and our arrival at the vet, we hope so much that we were fast enough and the vet can rescue him...

thanks for the prayers and the potp, together we are strong

Tigger

We received a message:

posting much in the past several  years so rather than leaving a comment here please go to her blog and share your condolences. She needs some support.

POTP for Sammy One LOVED Cat

Sammy from ONE spoiled LOVED Cat my friend is not feeling well at all.
Sammy's blog is titled One Spoiled Cat but we are sure spoiled means LOVED in
Ginger man speak!!
He has been struggling with the effects of aging for sometime now.
Sammy and his loving peeps are asking for as many purrs and prayers
as we can offer up today on Thanksgiving.  You may *click here to read Sammy's beautiful Thoroughly Poetic Thursday Thanksgiving Poem today.
Sammy is host to Thoroughly Poetic Thursday.
Sammy would love to hear from you so if you can leave him a comment full of purrs here or on his blog link above*
Sammy is the most handsome, bravest, polydacytal Ginger man.
Sammy's 17th birthday is in January 2017.
Below is a paragraph his mom wrote today telling us more about Sammy's current condition.

I feel that I must say a little something to everyone about Sammy although it’s not easy to do……..because of course our beloved pets MUST live forever right?   They must – they are such a huge part of our lives and hearts.  Well Sammy is just tired and his body is failing him and there is little that can be done.   I have NOT wanted to talk about it – because it’s difficult – very difficult.   He spent a day and a half in the hospital having constant IV drip with a variety of treatments all designed to do what we hope is NOT impossible – give him just a little more time…………Sammy has loved Christmas since he was tiny.   He loves lying under the tree and watching my husband’s train go round and round…….he loves present boxes…….he loves just being WITH us when we unwrap our presents and when he gets to look in his stocking to see what Santa Paws has brought.   SO our wonderful vet is trying to give Sammy a “rally” – – – a boost so that he will be able to enjoy one last Christmas with us.    We are NOT doing any “heroics” for him……I honestly feel he wouldn’t want us to.   He’s had a wonderful and long happy life and he deserves to have a good long rest.   He will always be in my heart and I think in many of your hearts too………..I’ve LOVED sharing him with you and right now, it’s my intention to continue – after all, Angels DO blog you know!
Don’t be sad…………..just sent us all your purrs and prayers and ENERGY so Sam will hang in there – I’ll keep you posted on the blog…………no long drawn out medical reports but just to let you know how the “rally” is working.

Shiver Update

Shiver

I am posting from my phone as POTP needed right away!
butterfly-wyldechylde.blogspot.com
Shiver desperately needs POTP please!  I noticed last week that he
sometimes breathed heavier than usual so I made an appointment with the vet
for Monday, November 14th.  Saturday, November 12th I had just come home
from a fun afternoon.  I was gathering laundry when I suddenly heard a
small thud.  I went into the bedroom to find Shiver having some kind of
seizure or something.  His legs were stiff, his head was off to one side at
an odd angle and it was clear he wasn't fully alert.  We rushed to the vet
and after several tests, we still have no real answers.  It could be his
heart murmur or it could be something else.
He's home now and his breathing is much better.  He's alert but he can't
stand or walk.  He falls to one side whenever he tries.  We go back to the
vet for a check up Monday morning and I'm praying for a miracle.  I'm not
ready to have to put him down.  Please pray for my boy.  I love him so much!

URGENT POTP for Macey The 3 little pugs human girl

Dear Friends I just rec'd the below from Deb.  Her sweet little granddaughter is very sick.
Sweet Macey has strugged for some time with her leg BUT she has always had a Smile.

HERE IS THE LINK TO DEB'S BLOG SHOULD YOU NEED IT
http://stellroselong.blogspot.com/

Please put up a request on the potp for me about our granddaughter Macey.  I know everyone knows her on the blog because of the process of us finding out about her lymphedema etc.  Well this morning she woke up with 104 temp and crying that her leg felt like something was twisting it tight.  Her dad took her to the doc, early this morning and after two rounds of blood test, and ultrasound, thankfully they ruled out a blood clot but she does have cellulitis.   They are marking it today, and giving her a Rocephin shot and antibiotics to take home.  Her blood count is 17,000 which is out of the normal range of 4000 to 11000.  We are hoping and praying that it does not move further up her leg.  Her temp is still at 104, but again the meds and shots should start to take it down.  If not, she will need to go into the hospital which is scary for a 9 year old girl.   I would appreciate it if you would share this news, and her needing any prayers anyone may have to share.
Thank you

WE LOVE YOU MACEY AND ARE SENDING YOU A TON OF PRAYERS AND HUGS  AND
KITTY KISSES

POTP for Phod and Hailey's human Gpa aka Big Guy

Mom copied this right from their post today:

Life has been a bit sucky in our part of the world. See our Big Guy (aka the Lady's Dad) survived an aneurysm on Halloween. He remains in ICU and is doing "ok" - the medical team is happy with the progress. He will likely be there for weeks. Lady is still at home with us, but will go down to see him in a week or two. No one wants her there too early as a nurse or caring and sympathetic person she is not.

The Big Guy and Grammie's dog Tendra is staying with wonderful family friends. She is probably being completely spoiled! Grammie and the Big Guy don't have to worry about her.

Needless to say, this news has shaken our house up a bit. Lady hasn't been as good at visiting blogs because at times she has been a space cadet she  has been thinking about other things and doing other things. We know you will understand and forgive her.

If you have a little POTP to send the Big Guy, we would really appreciate it.

You may click here to visit their blog or leave purrs and hugs in the comment section here
