With heavy heart we have to announce the passing of Benoit. He was a sweet fella of 17. He had a good long life. He was always a very sweet, loud boy. Always good. A beautiful boy ... we will miss you. You may leave comforting words for Benoit and family here or at his blog link below
My Dad is in the ICU getting great care! He is stable for now, and all his vitals are good, but this is a bad infection. He should be out of the ICU tomorrow, and it will be a wait and see from there. He is awake and talking and just super tired.
Please keep the POTP and prayers and healing vibes coming!

We lost our Ruby August 14. We knew it was coming, but thought it might be later in the year. She had lost weight since June, was depressed over the loss of friend and fellow senior girl Sunny, which we lost exactly 1 month ago today, and had stopped eating last week. No amount of appetite stimulant, syringe feeding, extra attention, stern warnings, begging or crying helped and she grew thinner and lethargic. At 3 in the morning, I woke to her licking my hand, something she has never done, and a sense she was telling me her time was coming. We snuggled for two hours then, and 2 hours later before her vet appointment to help her cross that Bridge to find the safe, warm Summerlands beyond. Thank you for all your good vibes, prayers and hugs thus far. I have to believe we'll be out of these deep, dark woods sometime soon.
The day has come, JOSIE has crossed her rainbow bridge today.
No matter the day, it is always too soon.
Mom and Dad said I was the best little tuxie girl they could have ever asked for. I never caused any trouble, didn't ever try to eat their food, and was always so social when we had company ... thanks for all the purrs and prayers and well wishes. You have all been the best friends for the past 14 years!
TUCKER ~ Majestic and handsome, the great Maine Dane has sadly crossed his Rainbow Bridge at ten years young.
His hu-mom has lovingly written, " It is with a heavy heart that we said Goodbye to our beloved Tucker today. He was amazing and I am so blessed to have had almost 10 years with him. He will live in our hearts forever and those that loved him. Thank you all for being a part of his journey. Love - The Momma, Tyson, Rugen, and Vader" Please leave

Sweetpea ~ first feral, then part of a loving family for many years. As Cheri wrote, " she was tired and I felt that all I was doing for her was not helping her be comfortable anymore. She asked to pass at home with us and that was how we did it. Sweetpea was the last of my first feral colony. I hope that they were all there to welcome her to the other side. She lives on in both of our hearts until we meet again."
The Cats of Wildcats Woods have lost three of their kitties in just the last couple months, your words of comfort and support to help during these
difficult times. Please stop by if you can. Thank you.
Meezer Tails has been publishing their blog now for about a dozen years! Many of you have shared the stories and adventures of Sammy and Miles Meezer and their furry siblings, and their human family. Sammy and Miles are now elder kitties, each with very serious health issues and they and
their family could use lots of purrs and a lot of prayers.
It would be a great comfort to them if you would reach out with love and support at this difficult time. Mary is also on Facebook, and posts only from time to time on her blog ... but there is a post from not too long ago where you can leave your comments. Thank you.
