Savannahs mom wrote via facebook that she had to see the vet today. Here is what she wrote...

"UPDATE: arthritis is likely cause. She had a complete orthopedic exam. No problem extending or moving her leg. She’s on pain med 2x daily and “no jumping” restrictions. We’ll check on Wednesday with our personal vet. POTP WORKS!!! You all are rock stars for Savannah"

Two French Bulls Edward and Lily OTRB

She was a good dog

Meet Jacobi, a Canadian west coast rescue dog. Her ancestors may or may not be a combination of border collie, shepherd, husky, blue heeler and/or other mid-sized dog. She loves forests and beaches, running in an open field, and chasing canine and human friends. She rolls over, plays dead, weaves through her person's legs, waves, shakes a paw, crawls, gives high fives and tells stories...

But she doesn't fetch.

Wednesday Update on Big Boy

Below are two email updates I rec'd from BB's Mom

Last night:

7:03 pm August 11, 2020

This afternoon at 4:30 pm, he got up off the bed I went over to his bowl and and banged his nose on it and Bob gave him his dry dog food and he ate his dog food and he drank a whole bunch of water and then he went outside and peed and peed in pee which means the pills are taken effect he seems to be breathing a little easier to so when we giving in just a few minutes we give him two more pills and hopefully that'll help him get rid of some of that fluid

This morning:

4:30 am August 12, 2020

Big boy slept from 7:30 to 2:15 and then he got up and started walking around and I asked him if he wanted to go outside and we went out and he did his thing and we came back in and he's been sleeping since then. He's breathing much better this morning his sides are not heaving and his heart is not beating out of his chest his heart was beating for irregular beats instead of what it's supposed to do you could see it with your eyes and feel it with your hand and it's not doing that this morning so these meds are working already. It's a relief to know that the pills will help.

Update on Big Boy....from his Mommy

Da Phenny and Da Nelly alerted us to BB being sick.

His Mom just sent me this update from the Vet Visit.

Thank you Ann for this beautiful Big Boy Badge...

My heart is breaking. My sweet Big Boy is very ill, he has congestive heart failure and his lungs are full of fluid. we were at the vet for an hour, just got home. He is on 3 meds, will take for a month to see if it works. Vet will check with us in 3 days to see if any changes with the meds. Big can hardly move, his chest and sides are heaving and I am drowning in tears. He will not eat, he can't. But I did cook a burger and he ate the pills in 2 bites of burger. Please say some prayers for BB, they will help

Dear friends,

we just saw a comment from Big Boys's mama who wrote that Big is sick... he can barely walk and gets up and down. He will see the vet as soon as possible and we hope hope hope for good news when they are back.
