Tweedles Update

The lab results for Tweedles have the vets concerned. One of the liver tests (the ALT or SGPT) is elvated quite high. And a muscle test was low.   Thursday Tweedles goes back for blood draws every 2 hours, and ultrasound of her liver, gallbladder, and whatever else. To say it mildly, I am so upset. Please don't stop the POTP.  I do not know where to go in my head from here....thank you my friends,,,georgie

Sawyer Blue from Cats on my Head

I just saw the below over on Teddy's blog.

Every buddy's Pal, Sawyer Blue, needs some purrs.

Kitties Blue crew at The Cat On My Head a SPECIAL GET WELL wish. Sawyer had a huge seizure Friday morning and unlike the others before this one, it did NOT stop on its’ own. It just went on and on and his Mom and Dad rushed him to the emergency vets’. He spent the night at the vet clinic but is now home....His family would surely appreciate your purrs
He was incubated and sedated and we all held our breath until we heard that his temperature was coming down…….and even though he was still “out”, he was trying to come around. By Friday night he was resting much easier and the vet said he might be able to come home Saturday morning. Well, he did come out of it AND did get to come back home where he belongs and where he could feel all the love from his brothers, sisters, and Mom and Dad.

You may click here to leave Sawyer Blue some get well wishes.

Tweedles & Georgie

Our longtime friend Tweedles needs all the POTP you can muster up and as fast as you can do it.  Last night she had a neurological event that ended with Twee's collapse and required CPR.  She is at the vet now and it is uncertain as to what happens from this point.  Also, please pray for Georgie as she deals with this heartbreaking turn of events for Tweedles.

GOOD BYE DEAR MAZIE

Dear friends,

another furfriend sadly had to go to the Rainbow Bridge ...

High up in the courts of heaven, today a little dog angel waits
with the other angels he will not play , but he sits alone at the gates.
"For I know my master will come", says he
"and when he comes he will call for me".

Winkie dear sweet one run free...

Brave Winkie never gave up hope for a FUREVER home
he found one and was loved to the moon and back for
SEVEN years.
Run free
Ann sent us this beautiful picture and the lovely heartfelt words
below

This special little boy, WINKIE, has crossed his Rainbow Bridge. It was not an easy life for him at the start, abused and abandoned and so very ill. Perhaps age three or four ... health began to return after a year of fostering. Winkie arrived at his new forever home, always to be deaf and partially blind ...but there he lived for just over seven amazing and wonderful years ... so very much loved, a fun pup, brave, happy and patient. He is missed, he will always be missed ... farewell, dear Winkie.
