Our Prayer

Lord God, you are the Creator of all living things. We know that you care for each and every precious life. Please watch over all those whom we love and care for. We pray for healing and relief to all pets who suffer from illness or poor living conditions. We also pray for those humans we have come to know through our associations in Blogville. Give them strength when they are weary, health when they are ill, and hope when they feel hopeless. And we especially pray for those furiends and friends we have listed here.

POTP for Harley of 5 Sibes..

Harley's Mom wrote to Ann regarding her dear sweet Harley see below

You may read more here

Hello, Ann. I am going to be taking a blogging hiatus - including my FiveSibes #WaitingWednesday and #FlashbackFriday Blog Hops.
Our Harley is nearing the time for us to help her journey to the Rainbow Bridge, so I am using this time to be with her and family, and
I'll need time after as my heart is shattered. I'll drop you a line when I return. I just put up a post today. Thank you, Ann. ~Dorothy

Cody asked for POTP for his brudder Dakota

Hi furiends, it's Cody. Today I have a huge favor to ask of you. My brother, Dakota is experiencing some health issues which could be quite serious. Dakota has had hypertension since late May. He has been on meds, and on his trip to the Vet this past Saturday he went from 180 to 190 compared to a week before. He also has an abscessed tooth Nothing can be done with the tooth until they can find what the cause of the high blood pressure is (Dakota is taking an antibiotic right now). The Vet told my Mom some things that it could be, and Mom, Dad and I are quite scared.  I love my brother. He is my best furiend.

Dakota is scheduled to see an Internist this Tuesday, who will check him and probably do an abdominal ultrasound. If you have a moment, and if you believe in the POTP, could you please send some good, positive energy to my brother? He is 12 and a half years old, like me.  I can't imagine him not being with us, who in the world would I bug if he isn't around?  I have even been giving him kisses to cheer him up. I am trying to cheer Mom up too, but that has been hard to do.

Anyway furiends, I know the POTP works and I would sure appreciate it if you could please put a good word in for my brother? He has been a great brother all of these years and I want him to stay around with me.

Thanks from the bottom of my furry heart.....

Love, Cody

Tweedles Update

The lab results for Tweedles have the vets concerned. One of the liver tests (the ALT or SGPT) is elvated quite high. And a muscle test was low.   Thursday Tweedles goes back for blood draws every 2 hours, and ultrasound of her liver, gallbladder, and whatever else. To say it mildly, I am so upset. Please don't stop the POTP.  I do not know where to go in my head from here....thank you my friends,,,georgie

Sawyer Blue from Cats on my Head

I just saw the below over on Teddy's blog.

Every buddy's Pal, Sawyer Blue, needs some purrs.

Kitties Blue crew at The Cat On My Head a SPECIAL GET WELL wish. Sawyer had a huge seizure Friday morning and unlike the others before this one, it did NOT stop on its’ own. It just went on and on and his Mom and Dad rushed him to the emergency vets’. He spent the night at the vet clinic but is now home....His family would surely appreciate your purrs
He was incubated and sedated and we all held our breath until we heard that his temperature was coming down…….and even though he was still “out”, he was trying to come around. By Friday night he was resting much easier and the vet said he might be able to come home Saturday morning. Well, he did come out of it AND did get to come back home where he belongs and where he could feel all the love from his brothers, sisters, and Mom and Dad.

You may click here to leave Sawyer Blue some get well wishes.

Tweedles & Georgie

Our longtime friend Tweedles needs all the POTP you can muster up and as fast as you can do it.  Last night she had a neurological event that ended with Twee's collapse and required CPR.  She is at the vet now and it is uncertain as to what happens from this point.  Also, please pray for Georgie as she deals with this heartbreaking turn of events for Tweedles.

Dear friends,

another furfriend sadly had to go to the Rainbow Bridge ...

Mazie  06-16-2006 - 5-28-19

High up in the courts of heaven, today a little dog angel waits
with the other angels he will not play , but he sits alone at the gates.
"For I know my master will come", says he
"and when he comes he will call for me".
- Noah M. Holland -

Winkie dear sweet one run free...

Brave Winkie never gave up hope for a FUREVER home
he found one and was loved to the moon and back for
SEVEN years.
Run free
Ann sent us this beautiful picture and the lovely heartfelt words

This special little boy, WINKIE, has crossed his Rainbow Bridge. It was not an easy life for him at the start, abused and abandoned and so very ill. Perhaps age three or four ... health began to return after a year of fostering. Winkie arrived at his new forever home, always to be deaf and partially blind ...but there he lived for just over seven amazing and wonderful years ... so very much loved, a fun pup, brave, happy and patient. He is missed, he will always be missed ... farewell, dear Winkie.

Please click below to leave some loving words for the families of
these friends.

Summer from Peggy's Place OTRB

2001 ~ 2018
Summer, she could not have had a better name. A sunny disposition, soft as a summertime breeze. A constant purr
engine, always good to her fur-siblings, and her calming, quiet Mom's best bed buddy. Summer, a love in the kitty family at PEGGY'S PLACE, and many of you remember dear Peggy for her beautiful "Peggy Blankies", and many of you have them! Peggy no longer is an active blogger ~ and we also want to mention that she is a special angel, in that she was the "other Mother" to Maggy from Zoolatry, who also recently crossed the bridge. Please leave words of comfort for Peggy ... and the wonderfulkitty family of Abby, Bob, Isis, Jeannie, Romeo and Sophie.
You may leave comments for Miss Peggy and family at this link.

Crockett and Appie OTRB

Dear friends
a very sad accident happened at the Lonestarcats and our hearts are so heavy to share the sad news about Crockett who left us yesterday...
Sometimes things happen what are so unfair and mean... and our tears are running with the tears of Crockett's family...

Grief doesn't have a plot.
It isn't smooth,
There is no beginning and middle and end.
