Our Prayer

Lord God, you are the Creator of all living things. We know that you care for each and every precious life. Please watch over all those whom we love and care for. We pray for healing and relief to all pets who suffer from illness or poor living conditions. We also pray for those humans we have come to know through our associations in Blogville. Give them strength when they are weary, health when they are ill, and hope when they feel hopeless. And we especially pray for those furiends and friends we have listed here.

POTP for Raz, Allie and Ellie's DaD

I received the below request for POTP from Raz, Allie, Ellie and their mom for
Cat Daddy Bill

Mom just posted this on the FB Cats with Blogs page and is going to put it

in the Quiet Room. We need prayers for our Dad again. Dad's been doing so

well and is walking again and doing lots of activities. This came out of

the blue and they are worried. Originally, his doctor said that it only had a "slight" chance of

being cancer but now he's talking about doing chemo again. Please pray

that there isn't anything else in the PET scan and that this can be treated

easily. There are a lot of therapies for liver cancer.

"Hi everyone, Can I ask for some purrs and prayers for my Dad please? He had

his 3 month follow up with the cancer doctor in February and they did the

regular MRI of his head (all is great in the area he had his cancer) and a

CT scan of the chest. The CT scan showed something on the liver so they did

a second abdominal one with contrast. The area is small, but concerning. We

met with a doctor who will be doing a biopsy on April 3 and he is having a

PET scan on Friday. Needless to say, we are very worried.

Hugs and a great big thank you,

your (worried) guy Raz, Allie, Ellie and Mom Sharon

Over the rain bow blog site

Many of the new citizens of Blogville may not know that Linda from Da Weenies and Ann from Zoolatry jointly keep track  of our furiends who have traveled OTRB. Once a month a new post is on that blog site. Contact information is below.

Ann writes:  I want to take a moment today to remind all pet bloggers about a very special blog, OUR RAINBOW FRIENDS. This blog publishes once a month, usually about mid-month, in memory of all our pet friends who have crossed their Rainbow Bridge. It has been publishing now since January of 2012 ~ becoming a permanent memorial for so many beloved pets.

With many bloggers leaving the community of blogging for Facebook and other social media, participation and comments have noticeably declined. This is unfortunate as our pets deserve better. We encourage everyone to consider "following" this blog, so you will not miss the publishing date, and be able to leave words of comfort for those who have crossed the bridge.

As members of this caring community ~ this is little to ask for. Also, when you become aware of any pet who has crossed the bridge, please let us know (it need not be your own pet) by sending an email to: our rainbow friends at gmail dot com.  We can then reach out to the pet owner for information and be able to include their pet on the monthly blog.

Thank you for remembering and thank you for caring.

Pet memories for February 2017 have published ~ please visit. Thank you.  OUR RAINBOW FRIENDS

Sugar & Family - Update

Our friend Sugar has crossed the bridge today.

Sugar has one of the most beautiful and highly recognized smiles in Blogville.  Wearing her purple boots she left pawprints all over our hearts. We followed her in her travels and now she is preparing for her last journey.

Sugar was diagnosed with lymphoma.  It is not treatable and she is spending her final days/hours at home in the loving company of her humans.  Please send them prayers of comfort as they move forward in this last walk.

Thank you for your POTP: Molly and Mom

On February 19, a POTP post went up for Molly the Dachshund
who had lost some sight in one of her eyes.  She requested prayers for her upcoming
Ophthalmologist visit.

Today she wants to say a big Thank you and share her good news
Prayers are powerful!!

I thought I'd share a bit of a conversation I just had with the receptionist

at Molly's Ophthalmology Center. (We're transitioning to the lifetime med

and I'm trying to find the cheapest price.I've had Molly's regular Dr.

handling this as they're considerable closer ). The Ophthalmology

receptionist told me that dogs rarely ever get their vision back when

they're diagnosed with SARDS, they never get prescribed the next

medication. So she couldn't tell me the cost of the medication. Molly's

Ophthalmologist is on vacation and they'll get in touch with me when he

returns...

So we'd truly like to thank you for all the prayers as Molly honestly got

her miracle and it was a tremendous one.... Thank you all and Thank you

Heavenly Father.

We thought we'd share this amazing news with you as proof of God's

incredible goodness.

Love, Molly and my Mom @The Fast and The Furriest
