Shiloh (updated)

Please send POTP to Shiloh and his mom over at Beaglebratz.  He was going to the dentist this morning and she is concerned about a lump as well as the anesthesia since he is an older pup.  His mom wrote:

By the the time I took him into the vet this morning, the little quarter-size
lump by his back teeth had grown to almost the size of a golf ball.  I am
sure it is more infection.  It was not affecting his eating last nite nor
his breathing today, he was still drinking and acting good this morning.

Update: I just got a call from the vet - he is in the middle of Shiloh's dental. He told me that Shiloh will have to lose a few of his upper teeth. He also told me that Shiloh has a small tumor on his upper palate that has to come out - he will remove that and send it off to the pathologist. So - while I am trying very hard rite now to stay positive, I also know that the dreaded c monster is somewhat common in Beagles. Not sure if Shiloh will be coming home tonite or wait until morning - I would rather tonite since I will be here all day now and tomorrow.
