Sue Sehi-Smith Mom to White dog Army has passed

An extraordinary woman, compassionate, giving, loving has traded her earthly angel wings
for heavenly ones. In June of 2005, Sue Sehi-Smith began to share with us the
White Dog Army and it is not possible to say how many dogs were held in her arms, how
many felt her love, and came through the doors of the home she and Steve shared in the
years since.
Their stories were told on the White Dog Blog, whether of hardship or joy, and Sue treated
each and every one equally.
It is hard to think there will ever be another like her who gave so much, who cared so deeply.
May you rest well forever, Sue, and may your beloved Steve be a peace with memories
of your times together.

Healing Prayers for Astrid's CCL surgery

Beautiful ASTRID ... who even at the age of 9 remains active and

mobile and so loves her daily walks, has sadly torn her CCL (the

cranial cruciate ligament). For her, the best treatment appears

to be surgery which will be done on October 11. Her kitty sisters

will surely tend to her recovery, as will her loving family, but during

this time the power of the paw will be most appreciated.

Farewell to Shoko and Tyebe's Blog

 Since October of 2013, many of us have been amused, delighted and charmed by Shoko and Tyebe ... by Angels Budd and Kali on the blog The Canadian Cats.

Photos and cartoons and wit ~ recipes to fill up the tumtum with yumyum!

It was not news to know that during the past year, Jean had battled various

health issues, and had only posted on her blog intermittently, but sadly the

news came from her husband Bill today that she has suffered a stroke, and

The Canadian Cats have bid farewell to blogging.  Jean will be missed, as

will Shoko and Tyebe ~ and so we sign off with wishes of good thoughts and

love to both of them for the days ahead, many blessings.  And as Jean always said,

"remember, the path to heaven passes through a teapot."
