Dougie the Persian OTRB

Mauricio, "Mau", has passed away. The king of the porch, patroller of the garden and resident of my lap during volleyball on television, went outside this morning, as usual, and peacefully put on his angel wings.

My (our) heart dog, our smiley, sensitive, loving, silly, brilliant and oh so handsome Dakota left us yesterday to join his brother Cody who he was grieving terribly. Many of you knew Dakota had a tumor on his heart (beyond cruel for a dog with such a loving heart) and we feel Cody’s passing accelerated his cancer. Dakota transitioned peacefully, with dignity and was surrounded by love with me, Lenny our special Veterinarian, and the sweetest Vet Tech ever. I am grateful that for the month since he was diagnosed I was able to hold that face and kiss him, love him and I thanked him daily for being such an incredible dog.

I just heard from Kathie and they will be doing Misty's knee surgery
Friday morning ... she was at the vet Thursday night for prepping,
thanks so much,

Her big brother Lightning has had tons of tests
trying to figure out a mysterious problem.
I know Lightning and Timber missed their precious Misty
a ton and I sure do hope now that she is home
maybe some of Lightning's issued were from being stressed.
