Our Prayer

Lord God, you are the Creator of all living things. We know that you care for each and every precious life. Please watch over all those whom we love and care for. We pray for healing and relief to all pets who suffer from illness or poor living conditions. We also pray for those humans we have come to know through our associations in Blogville. Give them strength when they are weary, health when they are ill, and hope when they feel hopeless. And we especially pray for those furiends and friends we have listed here.

POTP for Raz, Allie and Ellie's DaD

I received the below request for POTP from Raz, Allie, Ellie and their mom for
Cat Daddy Bill

Mom just posted this on the FB Cats with Blogs page and is going to put it

in the Quiet Room. We need prayers for our Dad again. Dad's been doing so

well and is walking again and doing lots of activities. This came out of

the blue and they are worried. Originally, his doctor said that it only had a "slight" chance of

being cancer but now he's talking about doing chemo again. Please pray

that there isn't anything else in the PET scan and that this can be treated

easily. There are a lot of therapies for liver cancer.

"Hi everyone, Can I ask for some purrs and prayers for my Dad please? He had

his 3 month follow up with the cancer doctor in February and they did the

regular MRI of his head (all is great in the area he had his cancer) and a

CT scan of the chest. The CT scan showed something on the liver so they did

a second abdominal one with contrast. The area is small, but concerning. We

met with a doctor who will be doing a biopsy on April 3 and he is having a

PET scan on Friday. Needless to say, we are very worried.

Hugs and a great big thank you,

your (worried) guy Raz, Allie, Ellie and Mom Sharon

  13. We've been praying and will continue to.....it's just not fair to have beat it once and possibly get it again - BUT - you can beat it more than once (if it is cancer again) and I'm living proof of that! Here's hoping the PET Scan shows nothing else AND that they are able to take care of everything easily.

Love, Pam, Angel Sam and Teddy too

  17. Thank you everyone. Dad had a PET scan last week and now they are thinking that the area on his liver is a cyst. There are areas in his chest that were "mildly concerning" but may be scar tissue from his heart surgery. Please continue to keep him in your purrs, woofs and prayers until we know for sure.
