POTP for sweet Baby Cotton

Mom and I just received the email below from Three Little Pugs...their sweet Cotton is feeling poorly.

Could you please put Cotton on the POTP list.  I am very worried about her.   We just aren't sure what is going on with her.  One thing we are worried about is I have plants all over the back porch, my friend had just given me two new ones, and Butch noticed last night they were pretty tore up from Cotton playing in them.  I thought I had put them high enough that no one could get in the pots.  We are wondering if she could have possibly eaten just enough to make her feel this way.  She is not vomiting, etc...and when I looked up the symptoms of poisoning with that plant she did not have them.  Anyway I threw them away last night.

She is going to the vet later today, only because they could not work me in this morning.  I really wanted to just go over right now and sit in the waiting room.  We are so rural that there is no ER vet around.

She is mostly sleeping all the time and not eating or drinking.  Those are her only symptoms.  We could sure use some powerful prayers.

Dip has made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge

Yesterday afternoon we received this email from Dip's Mom Lynne across The Pond.

I have some sad news, little Dip had to be put to sleep this afternoon.

She had a terrible night last night, the worst one ever and then when I brought her downstairs she just collapsed and didn't get up. The vet thinks she had a stroke.  Dip had been suffering with K9 dementia 

for the last year also.

We will miss her so much, it seems like she has been with us forever. I will do a tribute post on my blog maybe Friday or Monday.

Update on RUBY OUR SWEET AIREDALE

6:19 am Below was copied from an email I rec'd overnight.

"Ruby has a bad infection in her ear, but the bad thing 
is that the constant infections has built up scar tissue and polyps, which means that
her ear canal is practically closed shut.  She thinks surgery is likely.  I will see what 
our vet thinks."

Okay, just got back from the ER vet, there's good news and bad news.    Ruby is home

and sedated.  Her left ear is so swollen that the vet couldn't see down it.  She has an 

infection too, but the main problem is that it might not be able to be treated with medicine.  

She might have to have surgery.  She is on antibiotics and prednisone,

UPDATE  Good News!  KB Reports:

Evacuation order just lifted. We're home and a wave of extreme fatigue just hit me. Happy but so tired. It's still smoky and windy at home but we still have a home! And the nearby forest is still green. Thank you to the amazing firefighters who have been working 24/7 to protect our little part of the world.

UPDATE on Mortimer Moo from DownUnder

WE WERE VERY SORRY TO LEARN MORTIMER PASSED 

YESTERDAY.

ONE THING FOR SURE HE KNEW LOVE BEFORE HE PASSED...

We just saw this over on Charlie's Blog...posted yesterday. We surely hope he is better.

Crikey ...... I need to ask a BIG, BIG favour!!  Mortimer Moo is VERY sick.  He needs lots ofPOTH (hoof) if he is going to survive. It is ALL that can save him now. The Vet has given him until this afternoon to improve and if not he will have to be let go.  I'll give you more information soon but for now could you please send Morty as much POTH as you can find. 
He is the  beloved pet of Charlie's little 'girls' and I know they are sad
