POTP: Furry friends and their families: Sarah, Chico and 3 little Pugs


1.  Da Weenies of Florida and their peeps are so very sad to report on October 9th.


We had to say goodbye to Sarah about an hour ago. She was able to fight off the pancreatitis but then her liver failed. It was nearly a 100% failure and the vet felt there was nothing we could do because of her age. So I had to give her the last gift of being pain free again. She is with her mother, Bailey, again. Thank you for the prayers.

Sarah's mom, Ms. Linda, is still struggling with some complications  after cataract surgery. Working on the computer
is very difficult. She hopes to
put up a tribute to Sarah soon.

    Thank you for posting this and thanks for keeping Chico in your prayers. I created a GoFundMe page for him. The link is gofund.me/2k62d7n8. Even if you can't contribute, please keep him in your prayers. He's got a fight ahead of him. The steroids and antibiotic have already helped to clear up his sores quite a bit, but the meds aren't doing anything to help the cancer.

    I gotta say we've been there, Sarah and Chico. Kyla passed because of melanoma and had that nasty pancreatitis a couple of years ago. If we knew how to survive that stuff, we would have saved Kyla and told you guys but we don't know ourselves.

    I'm so sorry that Sarah lost the fight and had to go... big hugs to Amber and the the whole furmily... And I hope Chico will win the fight agains the evil big C. POTP to you Chico...
    the three little pugs are always in out thoughts we hope so much that everything will work like planned and tomorrow Deb's Butch is on the way to the local hospital...

    We are so sorry for Sarah's family to have to say goodbye. We know how this hurts the heart. And for Chico's diagnosis of the evil "C" we cross our paws for good treatment, whatever it might be.
