Abby

The Amazing Abby over at "Another Tequila Sunrise" needs some POTP today.  Her mom posted on Facebook: 
If you have a few moments, please send some warm fuzzies through the ether to Abby; she's going in for a 'lumpectomy' - she's having a mast cell tumor removed. I'm sure she's going to be fine, but she (and I) could use a few spare warm fuzzies if you've got them! I'll keep you posted on her progress.


Update: I talked to the vet a while ago, and the surgery went well; the surgery site is pretty big because she wanted to make sure she got clean margins, but the good news is that the growth was pretty much limited to the skin, so we really did catch it early.   Now we just have two weeks of trying to keep her from being too active....  Needless to say, there will be sedatives involved!  ;-)  Thanks again for all the good wishes!

    Sending POTP for recovery! So glad the operation is over and it sound like it went well...it seems like it will be difficult for you to keep Abby sedated. Perhaps you should ask for meds for yourself :)

    We're sending our POTP but don't know how effective it is. It didn't work for our Kyla who went due to melanoma in December. Better fortune.
