I rec'd a short email from Kathie last night...
Phantom has not been well for the last few days.
Yesterday his pain intensified to the point they could not
let him suffer any more.

    Mom and I are so very sorry to read about Phantom's passing. What a brave Woo with the most soulful
    eyes. He was loved by all of us and admired for his bravery.

    Phantom has been my "hero" for a long time....he was so brave until the end. He wanted SO BADLY to stay with his family and even though there were days he could barely stand up or walk, he hung in there - I told Phantom's Mom many times that I never saw anything but PURE LOVE in those beautiful blue eyes. He was such a sweet boy..............we are very sad.
