Goodbye, My Family and Friends

I am sorry I have to cross over to the Rainbow Bridge today at 10pm. I had a bloated stomach and had difficulty breathing. Daddy and Mummy rushed me to the 24-hr vet and I had an X-ray taken. The vet confirmed that it was not bloat and she suspected that I have something lodged in my esophagus instead based on the X-ray scan. While the vet was explaining to Daddy and Mummy about my condition. I started to cough and breathe abnormally. Then, she noticed that my gums and tongue had turned purple and within seconds, I passed out. The vet tried to resuscitate me, but to no avail.

POTP for Forrest's family

FORREST has crossed his Rainbow Bridge.

I am choosing to share what Bev has written, as there is no way I could write more lovingly ~

We spent the last week spoiling our boy and giving him the best barkit list we could... family came from a long way over many days and we all laughed and cried with Forrest... today at 1 pm he was given his wings... at home on the grass in the sunshine ... with fresh salmon and all our love.

We are beyond bereft... as much as we knew it was coming we have been hit hard... Doc is looking for his fellow poochie friend... it hurts more than I can say. 

I cannot get a blog up no matter how I try.

We are looking at the stars tonight for Leo, Forrest's sign and then we will go to bed... being awake is hurting too much.

Reiley - Cowspots Update

Reilly from over at Cowspots is having surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 4/26) to remove the tumor from his paw.  The dogtur is hoping to get it without having to remove a toe.  Crossing paws for a successful surgery and good recovery!

Dear friends,

you maybe follow Forrest on FB and you read that it nearly is THAT time for Forrest.
 And that is the saddest thing ever to know that the time you have together is a short one... and everything becomes so special when you know that it is "the last time" you do something together...
Therefore Forrests family is very sad and it nearly breaks their heart to know that THIS time comes soon... and they can need some hugs and some POTP  to be strong enough when they have to say good bye to their beloved furkid and friend...

Spooky: The handsome House Panther..RIP

We just learned of Spooky's passing today.

He has been battling kidney disease for some time.

His loving peeps have been treating him with sub fluids

but it was his time to move on.

Easy - Update

Our buddy Easy is at the ER. They're checking for foreign objects or bloat. He is puking and foaming. Crank up some powerful POTP for him and his staff!

Update:  Easy's staff just posted this on Facebook:  Easy Update... we are back, x-ray showed no foreign body in his 7 stomachs ... pheeew... there is also no bloat or any dangerous/poisonous thing, it's probably a gastritis. He got a shot and has to take meds for the next days. He looks still miserable, but I hope the meds help him to feel better.... thanks for your potp and the good thoughts... it helped the howl-i-copter-mama a lot to know that you all were with us...
